Birthday Wishes across the Atlantic


This post is for our eldest daughter who is 22 today. She's studying in the US of A for a year and she's a bit of an Emily Dickinson fan! Wendy Cope is also excellent!

    Hi Marina,
    Just wanted to let you know how much I'm enjoying your blog. I'm a newbie (at blogging, not at swimming!) and it's nice to see some like-minded blogs like yours and some of the blogs you link to. I've added you as a link on my fledgling blog, btw - hope that's ok!

    So interesting to read about pools and "wild swimming" in other places (I'm in Toronto, which is not exactly the swimming capital of the world, though we do have many community pools).
