I'm excited to be reading some of my poems at the Didsbury Arts Festival this year - this is the publicity photo for the event.

That arts festival sounds like a fun opportunity.

Your post stirred a dormant ambition - to visit those Joycean places! I'll get round to it one day...

This summer I went swimming

This summer I might have drowned

But I held my breath

I kicked my feet

I moved my arms around

This summer I swam in the ocean
